VIP Meal Prep - Chef Matts Culinary Creations

    VIP Meal Prep

The Premium Tier of In-Home Weekly Meal Prep

VIP Meal Prep is the top tier of Chef Matts in-home meal program. Everything in the standard weekly meal prep service is included — then the rotation gets larger, the menu planning gets more personal, and your cooking day gets locked into the calendar ahead of general availability.

This is built for households that want a chef in the rotation permanently, not occasionally. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, sides, sauces, and snacks are planned together as one week of eating. Menus are logged and refined over time, so the program keeps getting closer to exactly how your household wants to eat.

Cooked entirely in your kitchen — never delivered. We serve South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, the Philadelphia Main Line, and Myrtle Beach.

    Pricing & Logistics

Service fee. VIP engagements are quoted per cadence — weekly or monthly — because the rotation size, number of household members, and diet complexity all move the number. The standard program starts at $399 per week; VIP is quoted above that based on scope.

Groceries. Billed separately and reimbursed at cost. There is no New Jersey sales tax when groceries are reimbursed by the client. Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and other states collect applicable sales tax based on service location.

Travel. A $100 travel fee applies beyond 25 miles from 08094.

Trial period. Standing engagements begin with a two-week trial before cadence is locked in.

Meal prep is an in-home service. Gratuity is not applied to meal prep engagements.

Most households come to VIP after a few months on the standard weekly program. The pattern is consistent: the weekly dinners work, the household stops thinking about dinner, and then the question becomes why breakfast and lunch are still a scramble. VIP answers that by planning the whole week at once instead of a slice of it.

What a VIP Week Looks Like

One cooking day in your kitchen. Breakfasts that reheat without going rubbery, lunches that travel, dinners portioned for the household, plus the supporting cast most meal prep skips — a stock, two sauces, a dressing, cut vegetables, and something to snack on that isn't from a package. Everything is labeled with reheat instructions specific to the dish, not a generic sticker.

    Menu History

VIP menus are logged. Dishes that land get rotated back in; dishes that don't come off the list permanently. Over a season, the rotation stops being a chef's menu and becomes your household's menu. That accumulated knowledge is the actual product — it's the part a meal kit or a rotating roster of chefs structurally cannot deliver.

    Dietary Precision

Chef Matt lives with celiac disease, so gluten-free isn't an accommodation bolted onto a normal menu — it's a discipline he already runs on. Keto, dairy-free, paleo, Alpha-Gal, allergy-driven, athletic, and medical diets are all handled, including several at once inside the same household.

    How It Works

    1. 1

      Apply & Consult

VIP starts with a longer consultation than the standard program — household size, every diet in the house, the kitchen and storage we're working with, and how you actually eat on a Tuesday versus a Saturday.

    2. 2

      Build the Rotation

Chef Matt designs a full-week rotation covering breakfasts, lunches, dinners, sides, and extras, sized to your household and storage capacity.

    3. 3

      Lock Your Cooking Day

VIP clients get priority scheduling — your recurring cooking day is reserved ahead of general availability.

    4. 4

      Two-Week Trial

The first two weeks run as a trial so the rotation, portioning, and cadence can be adjusted before anything is locked in.

    5. 5

      Cook, Portion, Label

Chef Matt shops, cooks everything on-site in your kitchen, portions and labels each dish with dish-specific reheat instructions, and leaves the kitchen clean.

    6. 6

      Refine Every Season

Menus are logged and reviewed. Dishes that land come back; dishes that don't come off the list. The rotation gets more personal every month.

    Frequently Asked Questions

VIP includes everything in the standard weekly program, then expands it: a larger rotation covering breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and sides, extras like sauces and stocks, deeper menu customization with a logged menu history, and priority scheduling ahead of general availability.

VIP is quoted per cadence rather than published as a flat rate, because rotation size, household size, and dietary complexity all affect it. The standard program starts at $399 per week; VIP is quoted above that based on scope. Groceries are reimbursed separately at cost.

No. All meal prep is cooked on-site in your kitchen and stored in your fridge and freezer. There is no delivery component to this service.

Yes — that is one of the main reasons households move up to VIP. Different plates for different members of the same household are planned into the same cooking session.

Standing engagements start with a two-week trial before cadence is locked in. After that, VIP runs on a weekly or monthly cadence you set.

There is no New Jersey sales tax when groceries are reimbursed by the client. Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and other states collect applicable sales tax based on where the service is performed.

No. The 20% automatic gratuity applies to event bookings over $1,000, not to meal prep engagements.

Why Book VIP Meal Prep With Chef Matts

Bringing a chef into your home should feel calm, considered, and personal — not transactional. Every booking with Chef Matts Culinary Creations starts with a real conversation about your household: how many people you're feeding, the dietary preferences and restrictions involved, the kitchen we'll be working in, and the kind of experience you want to create. From there, Chef Matt builds a custom menu and confirms every detail in writing well before the date.

The service itself is fully turnkey. We handle planning, seasonal sourcing, in-home cooking, plating or portioning, and a complete kitchen cleanup before we leave. With more than eighteen years in professional kitchens — including time as an executive chef by age twenty-two and ongoing membership in the United States Personal Chef Association — Chef Matt brings restaurant-level technique into homes across South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, the Philadelphia Main Line, and South Carolina's Grand Strand.
