Bachelorette Party Cooking Class — At Your Rental or Home - Chef Matts Culinary Creations

Bachelorette Party Cooking Class — At Your Rental or Home

Pasta Making, Wood-Fired Pizza & Cocktail Classes at the Jersey Shore, in NJ, Philadelphia and Myrtle Beach

A chef arrives at your rental house or home with everything needed, sets up a hands-on station, and walks the group through making a full meal together — then everyone sits down and eats what they made. It runs about three hours, requires no cooking experience, and the kitchen is left spotless. Classes are $150 per person with an eight-guest minimum.

Bachelorette classes run all along the Jersey Shore — Cape May, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Ocean City, the Wildwoods and LBI — plus Philadelphia, New Jersey statewide, and Myrtle Beach.

Dinner Ideas for a Bachelorette Party

A hands-on cooking class beats a restaurant for a bachelorette dinner because the group stays together, nobody is shouting across a long table, and the food becomes the activity instead of an interruption to it. The three formats that work best are a pasta-making class, a wood-fired pizza night, and a Chef's Table dinner where the group watches each course come out.

Drinks Are Part of the Plan

The class is built to run alongside drinks rather than compete with them. In the cocktail format the drinks become the lesson — the group builds two or three cocktails and the food is designed around them. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free versions of every format are standard when restrictions are flagged at booking.

How It Works — Three Steps

  1. Send the date and the house. As soon as the rental is booked, send the date, town and rough guest count — the guest list can change later.
  2. Pick the format on a call. Hand-rolled pasta, wood-fired pizza, or cocktails and small plates, built around the bride's tastes and the group's dietary needs.
  3. Cook, eat, and leave the kitchen alone. The chef brings knives, boards, equipment and ingredients, runs about three hours of hands-on class, then cleans everything.

Bachelorette Cooking Class in Myrtle Beach and at the Jersey Shore

Rental kitchens are the most common setting for these classes. A standard kitchen with an oven, a cooktop and counter space is enough; outdoor space is a bonus for the wood-fired pizza class but is not required. Because the class produces dinner, it replaces a restaurant reservation rather than sitting on top of one — which is usually where the value shows up once drinks are counted. See the full pricing breakdown for every rate and fee.

If the group would rather be served than cook, book a private chef for the whole bachelorette weekend instead — many weekends do both, a class one night and a served dinner the next. When the bridal party is scattered across cities, a virtual class for a spread-out bridal party works before anyone travels, and the rest of the trip's meals can be handled by a chef at your Shore rental.

It runs about three hours, requires no cooking experience, and the kitchen is left spotless. Classes are $150 per person with an eight-guest minimum.

A private bachelorette cooking class is $150 per person with an eight-guest minimum, so a party of ten is $1,500 for the class. Groceries are billed at cost, plus 20% gratuity on totals over $1,000, applicable state tax, and a travel fee where the 25-mile rule applies. Everything the class produces becomes dinner, so it replaces a restaurant reservation.

Yes — rental kitchens are the most common setting for bachelorette classes, especially at the Jersey Shore and in Myrtle Beach. A standard rental kitchen with an oven, a cooktop and counter space is enough. Knives, boards, equipment and ingredients all come with the chef. Outdoor space is a bonus for the wood-fired pizza class but is not required.

The most popular formats are hand-rolled pasta, wood-fired pizza, and a cocktail-and-small-plates class. Handmade pasta is the crowd favorite — it photographs beautifully and everyone leaves having actually learned something. The menu is built around the bride's tastes and the group's dietary needs during a call before the date.

A hands-on cooking class beats a restaurant for a bachelorette dinner because the group stays together, nobody is shouting across a long table, and the food becomes the activity instead of an interruption to it. Popular formats are a pasta-making class, a wood-fired pizza night, or a Chef's Table dinner where the group watches each course come out and the chef does the work.

Eight guests is the minimum, and the format works well up to about sixteen. Larger parties are possible with additional chefs. Smaller groups are still welcome — they are simply billed at the eight-guest minimum, which is often still less than a comparable restaurant tab once drinks are counted.

A cooking class is better when the group wants an activity and the energy of doing something together. A private chef dinner is better when the group has been out all day and wants to sit down, be served, and not lift a finger. Many weekends do both — a class one night, a served dinner the next.

Yes. Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand are an active market, and beach-house bachelorette weekends are a large part of the work there. Classes are $150 per person, hosted in your rental kitchen, at the same rate as the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets.

The full Jersey Shore is covered, including Cape May, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Ocean City, the Wildwoods, Long Beach Island and the Asbury Park area. Philadelphia, the Main Line, South Jersey, North Jersey and Princeton are also served, and Myrtle Beach covers the South Carolina side.

Yes. Menus are built after a conversation about the group's needs, and gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free versions of every class format are standard. Flagging restrictions at booking rather than on the day means everyone cooks and eats the same meal instead of one guest getting a substitute plate.

Absolutely — and most groups do. The class is built to run alongside drinks rather than compete with them. A cocktail-and-small-plates format makes the drinks part of the lesson, with the group building two or three cocktails and the food designed around them.

Six to eight weeks for a summer Saturday at the Shore or in Myrtle Beach, which is when most bachelorette weekends happen and when dates go first. Off-season and midweek dates are usually available with two to three weeks' notice. Send the date as soon as the house is booked, even before the guest count is final.

Why Book Bachelorette Cooking Class With Chef Matts

Bringing a chef into your home should feel calm, considered, and personal — not transactional. Every booking with Chef Matts Culinary Creations starts with a real conversation about your household: how many people you're feeding, the dietary preferences and restrictions involved, the kitchen we'll be working in, and the kind of experience you want to create. From there, Chef Matt builds a custom menu and confirms every detail in writing well before the date.

The service itself is fully turnkey. We handle planning, seasonal sourcing, in-home cooking, plating or portioning, and a complete kitchen cleanup before we leave. With more than eighteen years in professional kitchens — including time as an executive chef by age twenty-two and ongoing membership in the United States Personal Chef Association — Chef Matt brings restaurant-level technique into homes across South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, the Philadelphia Main Line, and South Carolina's Grand Strand.
