Virtual Cocktail Making Class
A shorter, livelier virtual format — three cocktails, one technique, and a bar list sent to every kitchen.
A virtual cocktail class is a shorter, looser format than a cooking class — 60 minutes instead of 90, three drinks instead of a full dinner, and a bar setup that fits on a normal counter. It's built for corporate happy hours, friend groups spread across cities, and pre-dinner gatherings where the host wants an activity but not a whole night of logistics.
Chef Matt leads live from one screen while your group follows from their own kitchens. Everyone gets the bottle list and equipment checklist a week ahead so they shop locally — nothing is shipped, nothing is billed through you, and nobody is left scrambling for a jigger or a bottle of vermouth.
Want the same thing in person? See cocktail party chef service for passed courses and stations at home, or browse all virtual classes if you'd rather cook.
Launching Soon — Dates To Be Determined
Chef Matt's live virtual cooking classes are still in development. The format, menus, and pricing below are final, but no class dates have been scheduled yet and seats are not yet on sale. Send an inquiry to join the early list and we'll reach out first when the calendar opens. In the meantime, in-home cooking classes are available now across NJ, PA, and SC.
The Bar Comes to Every Kitchen
One hour, three cocktails, and a technique guests can use after the call ends. No kits to ship, no bar cart required.
- 60-minute live cocktail class led by Chef Matt, private to your group
- Three cocktails and one technique everyone can actually use later
- Bar equipment and bottle list sent a week ahead, formatted to forward
- Shopping list for citrus, syrups, and garnishes — all bought locally
- Non-alcoholic build for every cocktail so nobody sits out
- One join link, plus a quick tech-check note for the less camera-confident guest
- Recipe cards for each drink emailed after class
- Session recording for anyone who joins late or wants to rewatch
Priced Per Person
60 minutes instead of 90 — tight enough for a happy hour, long enough to learn something.
Private Cocktail Class
8-person minimum — $800. Groceries and bottles are each participant's own and are never billed through us.
- 60 minutes, live, on your date
- Private to your group — nobody else on the call
- Three cocktails + one technique
- Non-alcoholic build included for each drink
Why 60 Minutes?
Cocktail classes are shorter than cooking classes because the format is leaner: fewer ingredients, no stove, no oven, and no waiting on a protein to rest. Three drinks, one technique, and a clean finish. It fits a corporate happy hour, a pre-dinner friend gathering, or a bachelorette warm-up that leaves room for the rest of the night.
- 60 minutes keeps energy high
- Same per-person pricing as virtual cooking classes
One kitchen = one screen. Two colleagues sharing an apartment count as one kitchen, not two.
A virtual cocktail making class is 60 minutes, live, private to your group, and priced at $100 per person with an 8-person minimum. It is not a mixology lecture and it is not a pre-recorded demo. Chef Matt builds each drink with the group, watches technique on camera, and answers questions as they come up.
How the Hour Runs
- Pick the menu. A quick planning call or email thread settles the three-cocktail lineup and whether the group leans spirit-forward, citrus, or zero-proof.
- Lists go out a week ahead. Bar equipment checklist and bottle list, formatted to forward. Everyone shops locally at their own store.
- Everyone joins the call. One link, no special app, cameras on. Chef Matt checks equipment and ingredients before the first pour.
- Build three drinks in 60 minutes. One technique is emphasized throughout — stirring, shaking, dilution, or balance — so guests leave with something they can repeat. Recipe cards and the recording follow the next day.
Why It's Shorter Than a Cooking Class
Cocktails don't need an oven timer, a resting protein, or a multi-component plate. Three drinks and one technique fit cleanly into an hour, which makes the format easier to fit into a packed schedule — a lunch-hour team event, a 7 p.m. friend call, or a bachelorette pre-game before dinner reservations.
What the Group Gets
- Three cocktails built live, from scratch, in each kitchen
- A non-alcoholic version of every drink so nobody is left out
- One technique they can apply to other drinks later
- Recipe cards and a session recording
- No kits, no shipping, no single-use packaging

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Book Virtual Cocktail Making Class With Chef Matts
Bringing a chef into your home should feel calm, considered, and personal — not transactional. Every booking with Chef Matts Culinary Creations starts with a real conversation about your household: how many people you're feeding, the dietary preferences and restrictions involved, the kitchen we'll be working in, and the kind of experience you want to create. From there, Chef Matt builds a custom menu and confirms every detail in writing well before the date.
The service itself is fully turnkey. We handle planning, seasonal sourcing, in-home cooking, plating or portioning, and a complete kitchen cleanup before we leave. With more than eighteen years in professional kitchens — including time as an executive chef by age twenty-two and ongoing membership in the United States Personal Chef Association — Chef Matt brings restaurant-level technique into homes across South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, the Philadelphia Main Line, and South Carolina's Grand Strand.
