Virtual Pasta Making Class
Hands-on dough from scratch, three shapes, two sauces — no pasta machine required.
Pasta is the most requested class format. It is also the most forgiving. A pile of flour, a few eggs, and a clean counter is all a beginner needs to make dough that actually tastes like pasta. A pasta machine helps, but it is not required — the class covers both hand-rolling and machine rolling, so nobody is left out.
In 90 minutes, Chef Matt walks your group through dough from scratch, three shapes, and two sauces. Each kitchen works on its own board while following the live demo. The class works for families with kids, friend groups in different cities, and teams looking for a virtual event that feels like an activity, not a meeting.

Launching Soon — Dates To Be Determined

Send an inquiry to join the early list and we'll reach out first when the calendar opens. In the meantime, in-home cooking classes are available now across NJ, PA, and SC.

One kitchen = one screen. Two kids sharing a counter with one parent count as one kitchen.
A virtual pasta making class is 90 minutes, live, and priced per person. Public classes are $75 per person and run on scheduled dates. Private classes are $100 per person with an 8-person minimum ($800), on your date, with the menu you choose. Cook together at one counter or spread across the country — it's priced per person either way.
What the Class Covers
- Mixing the dough. Learn the ratio of flour to egg, how to tell when the dough is hydrated enough, and how to knead without overworking.
- Resting. A 20-30 minute rest is built into the class while sauce basics are covered.
- Rolling. Hand-rolling technique for everyone, plus machine tips if you have one. The goal is a thin, even sheet that holds sauce.
- Three shapes. Fettuccine, farfalle, and a hand-cut shape like pappardelle or maltagliati — all from the same dough.
- Two sauces. A simple tomato-basil sauce and a butter-parmesan emulsion, so the group sees how one dough supports different finishes.
No Machine, No Problem
Most home kitchens don't have a pasta machine. The class is structured so that a rolling pin is the only tool you need. Chef Matt demonstrates the hand technique on camera, then watches participants roll their own sheets and offers corrections. If someone does have a machine, the same dough works with it, and the class covers machine-specific tips like thickness settings and feeding the sheet.
What the Group Gets
- Three pasta shapes and two sauces built from scratch in real time
- Technique tips for dough feel, rolling, and cutting
- Recipe cards and a session recording
- A shopping list sent a week ahead, formatted to forward
- No kits, no shipping, no single-use packaging

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Book Virtual Pasta Making Class With Chef Matts
Bringing a chef into your home should feel calm, considered, and personal — not transactional. Every booking with Chef Matts Culinary Creations starts with a real conversation about your household: how many people you're feeding, the dietary preferences and restrictions involved, the kitchen we'll be working in, and the kind of experience you want to create. From there, Chef Matt builds a custom menu and confirms every detail in writing well before the date.
The service itself is fully turnkey. We handle planning, seasonal sourcing, in-home cooking, plating or portioning, and a complete kitchen cleanup before we leave. With more than eighteen years in professional kitchens — including time as an executive chef by age twenty-two and ongoing membership in the United States Personal Chef Association — Chef Matt brings restaurant-level technique into homes across South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, the Philadelphia Main Line, and South Carolina's Grand Strand.
